What's Up with our Berm?

As many of you have probably noticed, the HOA has started the clean up project along Woodstock Rd that was discussed at the 2019 Annual Homeowner Meeting in December. We are removing the dead and dying Leyland Cypresses from the berm and common areas. The dead trees have extended past their expected lifespan and have been falling down causing numerous issues with the grounds and power lines. The diseased trees look unsightly as they have lost their needles, turned brown and will soon die as well. This project has been approved by the city through an application process.
Once the trees are removed, the HOA will immediately begin replanting the bare areas with 8ft – 12ft replacement trees that will blend with the existing holly and other remaining trees. This project will restore our beautiful landscape that benefits all homeowners and enhances the prominence of our neighborhood.
As this project continues, the HOA board will communicate on a regular basis with updates and the replanting plans.
Thank you all for your support,
DDSS HOA Board
